Steps to Peace with God

Peace with God means reconciliation to Him. We are no longer alienated.

Therefore, peace comes to us in the forgiveness of sin through the merit and suffering of Jesus our Savior. When a person confesses their pride, admits their need for Jesus and surrenders to God, our alienation with God is over. Peace brings a sense of well-being and confidence.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13 NRSV)

Although there are multiple ways or steps to peace, we offer one that has four steps to it:

1) ADMIT your spiritual need. “I am a sinner.”
2) REPENT and be willing to change the direction of your life.
3) BELIEVE that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross.
4) RECEIVE, through prayer, Jesus Christ into your heart and life.

What to Pray:

Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I believe you died for my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life. I receive you as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me now.

Amen.
